Anticipating political turmoil in the US and living in a very conservative part of the country, I decided to look at alternative to living in the USA… I thought I would start my exploration of that desire with a trip to Naples Italy. I found an intriguing AirBnB in the Garibaldi square area, well placed and walking distance to the metro, buses and hi speed rail station as well as in the heart of all the wonderful shopping..
On the subject of shopping, it puts things in perspective how much more Americans spend on the items they purchase whether it be food , {no bird flu egg mark ups here) clothes, automobiles especially now with all the tariffs being placed now and tariffs already in place on countries like China who have taken over the EV market, leapfrogging over the US seemingly overnight… Here in Italy, You will not see a Ford F-150 anywhere, the Cooper like vehicles , Fiat, VW & hyundai made midget cars I call them rule as well as scooters & motorcycles is all you see,.. not as much as here in this part of Spain as the vehicle selection are towards small SUV's…So many eye opening observations on the world landscape changes , how the Trump administration is viewed & how they are contributing to how much more undesirable the US is becoming as a place to live for any long periods of time… more to come, stay tuned
