Where it all started

Miami Beach 2013-2020

It was the summer of 2013 I relocated from a 32 year TV broadcast career, my position as master control operator for Fox 5 Atlanta, replaced by advancements in automation. technology .

       I had a brief brush with the music  industry having started a hip hop label doing promotion with a co-worker at a former job  at WSB TV Atlanta, I started experimenting with music promotion, this was the mid 1980's, the early days of Southern as a matter of fact all  of hiphop,.. fast forward to Miami Beach my days were relegated to taking care of my ageing mom, and to get my mind off of that and all that went with it .

       I started buying Korg volca synth modules,,... before I knew it I had collected them all and started buying Novation synth controllers and Roland keyboards and drum machines, over a 2 year period I had quite a collection, and a lot of time on my hands, created a music lab and figured out midi technology, and started creating music,,,

     We are  currently in our 10th year of producing Dance, EDM &. deep Chill music,, The alter ego of DJ RJ emerged within the last 4 years or so DJ'ing my own house parties  this was something I picked up in the ATL so here we are,...

        Along the way,, there was undergroundfile.com,.. a blog about underground artists,  of which the original version was an audio magazine, interviews of artists  interviewing artists like ATL legend MC Shy D, Kidd Money & Splack Pack from the ghetto of West Palm Beach and underground record labels, this was 1992, the second version appeared on the world wide web in 2007 and lasted until about 2012 when I started my move to Miami Beach
